Wouldn’t it be amazing and wonderful if brilliant colors could be used to make your life better? With Spectro-Chrome Light Therapy, you can!
The story of light therapy began in the United States in the 1870s with two doctors, Dr. Edwin D. Babbitt and Dr. Seth Pancoast. These men, motived by an interest in metaphysics, were the original light therapy researchers. Many years later, Dinshah P. Ghadiali, an Indian physician, scientist, and engineer, applied what he had learned from Babbitt and Pancoast’s work to creating actual light therapy. Dinshah worked for 20 years to develop organized colored light therapy to treat a vast variety of diseases, a therapy he unveiled in New York in 1920. By 1924, over 800 people, including MDs, were trained in administering this therapy.
Over the years, for a variety of reasons, light therapy fell out of use, often in favor of sound therapy. But some forms of light therapy are still familiar to most of us. Babies are treated for jaundice with blue light, and individuals all over the world treat seasonal affective disorder (SAD) with light meant to simulate sunlight.
Studies continue to show that magnified, concentrated color and light can have a significant effect upon the human body. Spectro-Chrome Light Therapy’s gentle and subtle application process is a gradual, yet nonetheless effective treatment. It restores a healthy mind and body by shifting the harmonic patterns within the body and mind through light frequencies and restoring the aura.
SPECTRO-CHROME LIGHT THERAPY
At Life Force Practices in Washington, DC, we use the same Spectro-Chrome Light Therapy developed 100 years ago by Dinshah Ghadiali. Light therapy is a subtle and powerful technique that uses specific frequency lenses to alter vibrations within specific parts of the body. We use low intensity lights combined with specially designed colored lenses. These lenses were the result of years of research into measuring the effects of different color frequencies on the mental, emotional, and physical bodies. Light frequencies subtly shift the harmonic patterns within the body and mind, creating new default set points that restore the overall balance in an individual and bring back a sense of well-being.
